Discover Iceland, its owner Georg, assistant Magdalena, and our guides were great. Georg and Magdalena helped us plan our five days and promptly answered our many questions. We and another couple have traveled extensively over the last 14 years and plan our own trips. Because of our experience we have used a lot of different drivers and guide services. Our guides were knowledgeable, allowed us to miss the crowds, threw in a few surprises and were just good people. My husband and I had a fun and unforgettable time with Tomas on a 5-day private tour, which included a Reykjavik city tour, a Landmannalaugar SuperJeep Tour, and a 3-day Mission Blue Ice tour which included the Golden Circle, South Coast, and Glacier Lagoon. It was our first time in Iceland, and Tomas made sure we were always comfortable and fully informed of the daily itinerary. He was very professional and knowledgeable, and provided his personal insights into every stop we made. Did a private car Golden Circle Tour. Our driver was John Paul and he was an excellent guide. Although we were prepared for wet weather, the day was beautiful blue skies and sunshine. John Paul joked that we did 3 and 3, 3 waterfalls and 3 geysers. He stopped at a dairy farm that made delicious ice cream. I am partially disabled and the driver helped me when necessary. We also stopped at the Secret Lagoon and got to bathe in the hot spring. He also stopped at several other amazing natural sites.The Mercedes SUV was comfortable and easy to get in and out of. Absolutely unbelievable experience. Tomas was phenomenal!!! Tailored our tour to our group. Added several “secret” stops as bonuses. Stopped for us every time we needed a bathroom break. Suggested a great spot for authentic Icelandic lunch! Brought us to a cool little bakery with VERY GOOD cinnamon rolls. Shared so many stories about growing up in Iceland and the culture. Truly personalized the tour for us. Took tons of pics of our group at various spots. topped for wicked good coffee in a converted American School Bus! Saw several amazing waterfalls one inside a cave that we went in and one we could walk behind….see more…
